The Holy Prophet (sa) formed a bond of brotherhood between Hazrat Ubaidah bin Harith and Hazrat Umair bin al-Humam. Hazrat Ubaidah bin Harith and Hazrat Umair bin al-Humam were both martyred in the Battle of Badr.

When the Muslims migrated to Medina, the Holy Prophet (sa) formed bonds of brotherhood between the Muhajireen (the emigrants from Mecca) and Ansar (the Helpers who were the dwellers of Medina).
