Demise

There are differing views with regard to the time of the demise of Hazrat Muhammad (ra) bin Maslamah. According to the varying accounts, he passed away in Medina in 43, 46 or 47 AH and at the time of his demise, he was 77 years old. Marwan (ra) bin Hakam led his funeral prayer who was the amir of Medina at the time. It is also mentioned in some accounts that he was martyred.
