Hazrat Mujazar’s children were in Medina and also in Baghdad. It is narrated by Abi Wajzah, “The three men, amongst the Martyrs of Uhud, who were buried in a single grave were Mujazar bin Ziyaad, Nu‘man bin Malik and ‘Abdah bin Hassas.”

Buried in a Single Grave with Two Other Companions

The Battle of Uhud took place in 3 AH in Medina between a force of 3,000 Meccan disbelievers and 1,000 Muslims. After the humiliating defeat at the Battle of Badr, the Meccan disbelievers returned for revenge. Although the Muslims suffered great losses in this battle which served as a lesson for future generations on obedience, ultimately the Meccan's retreated back to Mecca.
