From the life of Hazrat Ali (ra) bin Abi Talib
Hazrat Ummul Momineen, Hazrat Umm Salamah (ra) states:
“I swear that I heard the Holy Prophet (sa) say, ‘Whosoever loves Ali, loves me and whosoever loves me, loves Allah. And whoever harbours malice against Ali, harbours malice against me and whosoever harbours malice against me harbours malice against Allah.’”

Hazrat Zirr (ra) narrates that Hazrat Ali (ra) said, “I swear by the One Who causes the grain to sprout and created the soul! Verily the Holy Prophet (sa), the Immaculate one, he gave me a promise that only a believer will have love for me and only a hypocrite will harbour malice against me.”
