Hazrat Zubair (ra) was among those 10 fortunate companions whom the Holy Prophet (sa) gave the glad tiding of paradise in their lifetime. He is also among the al-Sahab al-Shura – the six men who formed the consultative body and whom Hazrat Umar (ra) nominated to be chosen as the next Khalifa before his demise.
